We understand. To make sure we're all on the same page for when it does, we enforce the following policies:
Cancellation Policy
- Payment: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking.
- Refunds: We do not offer refunds for cancellations or inclement weather.
- Rescheduling: An option to reschedule within the current season or opt for store credit valid for one year will be offered instead.
- Policy Changes: We reserve the right to modify this policy as warranted.
Safety Policy
- Life jackets will be worn at all times while on the water.
- Road Biking and Mountain Biking are not allowed with our rentals.
- Bike Helmets are required.
- Participants will obey all state, federal, and local boating & biking regulations, laws, ordinances, and lawful directives from appropriate emergency or law enforcement personnel while operating or renting boats or equipment.
- All participants 18 years and older must sign a waiver. Minors can be listed on a parent or guardian's waiver.
- An adult must accompany minors under the age of 16 years.
Terms & Conditions

1. Reservation and Booking:
- All reservations and bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A valid credit card will be required when booking.
2. Payment:
- Unless otherwise noted, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. We accept most major credit cards and digital wallets. Prices are as listed and are subject to change without notice.
3. Cancellation and Refund:
- We recognize that unexpected situations may arise, leading to the need for a cancellation. While we do not provide refunds, we offer the option to reschedule within the current season or receive a shop credit valid for 1 year.
4. Changes and Modifications:
- Changes to the reservation date, time, or participants may be accommodated based on availability and approval. Modifications may be subject to additional charges.
5. Equipment Rental:
- Customers renting equipment are responsible for its proper use, care, and return in the condition received. Any damages or loss may result in additional charges.
6. Guide Services:
- Our guides are experienced and trained professionals. Participants are expected to follow the guide's instructions for safety and enjoyment.
7. Assumption of Risk:
- Participation in outdoor activities involves inherent risks. Participants acknowledge and accept these risks and release Onward LLC and its guides from liability for injuries or damages.
8. Weather and Safety:
- Weather conditions may affect activities. Onward LLC reserves the right to modify or cancel activities based on safety considerations. In such cases, alternative arrangements or refunds may be warranted.
9. Liability Waiver:
- All participants 18 years and older must sign a liability waiver. Parents or legal guardians must sign on behalf of minor participants.
10. Termination of Services:
- Onward LLC reserves the right to terminate services for any participant who poses a safety risk or fails to comply with instructions without issuing a refund.
11. Governing Law:
- These terms are governed by and construed following the laws of the state of South Dakota. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South Dakota courts.
12. Changes to Terms:
- Onward LLC reserves the right to update or modify these terms without prior notice. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website.
